Broad Street North – Elmview Road to Catherwood Crescent
Starting on Monday, June 22, a rehabilitation project will begin in the Uplands subdivision along Broad Street North between Elmview Road and Catherwood Crescent. The project will be completed in two phases starting with concrete work to improve sidewalks, curbs and gutters. Phase two includes resurfacing the roadway for an improved driving experience.
Phase one, concrete work, is expected to be complete in 12 weeks, weather depending. To complete this phase, Broad Street North will be closed in sections, and intersections will remain open when possible to reduce the impact to traffic. As each section is completed, crews will proceed to the next:
- Section one: Broad Street N between Elmview Drive and Fairview Road
- Section two: Broad Street N between Fairview Road and 12th Avenue North
- Section three: Broad Street N between 12th Avenue North to Rodenbush Drive
- Section four: Broad Street N between Rodenbush Drive to Catherwood Crescent
Detours will be in place throughout the project. Please watch for signs.
On Monday, crews will also complete a one-day asphalt repair on Section four. Traffic restrictions will be in place until approximately 7 p.m. to allow the asphalt to cure.
