City Celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day
The City of Regina is honoured to host its 7th celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day. This is an opportunity for our entire community to learn more about the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada.
On Friday, June 21 starting with the Grand Entry at 10 a.m., please join us in City Hall. Performances will occur within Henry Baker Hall with food and drink available within the Darlene Hincks Committee room. View the event full schedule which details the day’s free food, entertainment and cultural displays. Attendees can expect to taste bannock, join in a round dance and shop for Indigenous crafts.
This important community event is hosted in partnership with Regina Police Service, Regina Fire & Protective Services, Regina Transit, University of Regina Office of Indigenization, Campion College, SaskTel, SGI, Regina Public Library, Farm Credit Canada, SaskGaming, and SaskPower.
