City Hall Celebrates the Festive Season
Mayor Michael Fougere and City Councillors invite residents to the annual Light the Lights event at City Hall on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m.
This free community event features wagon rides, ice-frame selfie stations, games, hot chocolate and cotton candy, costumed characters by Queen City Cosplay, face-painting and of course, a special visit from Santa. Just before 6:30 p.m. the Mayor will lead a countdown and flip the switch to light the lights.
Live entertainment includes Carlo Petrovitch Trio, Douglas Park and Jack Mackenzie elementary school choirs, Christmas carol duo Myla & Georgia, and the Regina Highland Dancers.
Road and parking restrictions will be in place around City Hall from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Drivers are cautioned not to park at bagged meters around City Hall for personal safety and vehicle protection. Accessible parking available on Smith Street.
