City Invites Resident Feedback in Pre-Budget Survey
The City of Regina is inviting residents to participate in the planning of the 2021 City Budget.
The first phase of public consultation launches today with a short pre-budget survey that will set the foundation for additional opportunities to provide feedback leading up to finalization of the 2021 Budget.
The City provides more than 60 services that residents rely on. Budget planning involves working to ensure these services are provided at an affordable level while continuing to make strategic capital investments in roads, utilities and facilities that support current needs and long-term growth.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City has adjusted services and looked for ways to reduce operating costs to address the financial impacts. It is expected that COVID-19 will continue to negatively impact the City’s revenues and expenditures in both 2021 and 2022.
As we finalize the 2021 budget, we want to hear what your priorities are for the year ahead. Take the survey and join the conversation at Regina.ca/budget21.
