City Now Accepting Adapted Sport and Recreation Grant Applications
Applications are now being accepted for the Adapted Sport and Recreation Grant offered by the City of Regina. This grant is designed to support projects and initiatives that enhance inclusion and increase accessibility in sport and recreation, while promoting active and healthy lifestyles for people with disabilities.
The total funding available for 2023 is $200,000, which will be distributed among the top eligible applicants. Organizations can apply for funding to support something new or make accessibility-related changes to existing programs, services, events or facilities. Organizations can also apply to support accessibility audits of their facilities or capital initiatives including renovations or equipment purchases.
To be eligible for the grant funding, an organization must be a registered non-profit with a proposed initiative that aligns with one or more of the priorities of the funding stream.
The deadline for applications to this funding program is June 22, 2023, at 4:45 p.m.
