City Seeks Proposals from Non-profit Organizations for New Rapid Housing Initiative Project
The City of Regina is seeking proposals from non-profit organizations that can lead and complete an affordable housing project under the third round of the Rapid Housing Initiative (RHI) Cities Stream, administered through Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
The deadline for non-profit organizations to submit Letters of Intent to the City is Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
The City will select a non-profit housing partner and submit a proposal to CMHC by March 15, 2023. Upon approval by CMHC, the project(s) must be delivered and available for occupancy within 18 months, which is anticipated to be late 2024. View the timeline below:
