City of Regina Opening Golf Courses Early
City of Regina golf courses will soon open for the season with Tor Hill Golf Course opening on Friday, April 9. The Murray and Goulet courses will open on Friday, April 16, and the Lakeview Par 3 will open Friday, April 23, weather permitting.
Courses normally open in May, but with the warmer weather and below average spring runoff, crews have been working to prepare the courses for more outdoor recreation options for Regina residents.
In collaboration with Western Golf Management, an independent firm that manages the courses, the City is ensuring that appropriate safety measures and cleaning protocols are in place as outlined in the provincial health guidelines.
All tee times must be booked in advance; no walk-on players will be permitted. Tee time bookings can be made up to 5 days in advance starting at 7 p.m.
For the health and safety of visitors and employees, Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) Golf Course Guidelines will be strictly enforced. SHA Golf Course Guidelines can be found on the Government of Saskatchewan website.
Regina has four City-owned courses that offer low-cost golfing for everyone in the family including Tor Hill Golf Course, Murray Golf Course, Joanne Goulet Golf Club and the Lakeview Par 3 Golf Course.
