City seeks input on winter snow and ice activities
The City of Regina invites residents to provide input on Regina’s winter operations including prioritization and sequencing of street plowing, ice control and snow removal.
The City is currently reviewing the winter maintenance policy, service levels, costs and impacts of winter operations, and we want your input. Your survey input, along with other research, will help us develop recommendations for consideration by City Council in late 2020.
With a budget of $8.9 million in 2020, the City of Regina’s winter maintenance program strives to support the safety of residents, as well as the attractiveness, and economic viability of our community. To achieve this, we follow a winter maintenance policy which guides service levels for our snow plowing, ice control, and spring run-off activities.
