City to Prune 2,300 Trees in Whitmore Park throughout March
The City of Regina is now pruning more than 2,300 trees in the Whitmore Park area. Pruning is scheduled to continue until the end of March.
Whitmore Park residents may be required to move their vehicles to allow crews to work more safely and effectively. The City will provide residents with 24 hours’ notice of any parking restrictions.
For everyone’s safety, residents are asked to remain at least two metres away from pruning crews at all times. Drivers are encouraged to consider an alternate route when they see crews at work.
Tree pruning is part of the City’s program for care and maintenance of its trees. Scheduled pruning helps trees grow and remain healthy for years to come.
The City of Regina thanks residents for their understanding and patience while this important work is being done.
