Community Survey for Catalyst Committee Projects Launches
An online community survey goes live at 12 p.m. today for residents to give input on proposed projects to revitalize Regina, activate downtown and contribute to our city’s economic prosperity.
The Catalyst Committee, on behalf of the City of Regina, is exploring how to best align five recreation and cultural-based facility proposals to maximize economic and community benefits. The projects include a multi-purpose events centre (arena), indoor aquatic centre, multi-purpose outdoor baseball event centre, synthetic outdoor field (soccer) and modernization of the central Regina Public Library.
Today’s survey launch on Be Heard Regina coincides with the first of eight public information sessions that are being held today through Thursday, October 17 to 20, at the AGT Lounge inside Mosaic Stadium. These sessions will provide residents with opportunities to review the project information and provide input to the Catalyst Committee.
