Development of the Regina Transit Master Plan Continues Residents Asked for Further Feedback on Future of Regina Transit
Earlier in 2021, the City of Regina invited residents to share their thoughts, experiences and expectations about transit and paratransit to help develop the Regina Transit Master Plan (RTMP) through a survey and stakeholder workshops.
As plan development continues, transit and non-transit users are being asked to participate in a second round of engagement. This time, we are seeking feedback to refine the concepts and ideas that were gathered from the nearly 1,700 completed surveys in February.
Participants can choose to respond to questions in one or more of these topics:
- Transit Routes and Services (how you get around Regina)
- Paratransit / Door-to-Door Service (services, eligibility, and accessibility)
- Customer Experiences (stops and hubs)
- Fares and Trip Planning (including how you plan your trip)
Residents are encouraged to help plan the future of transit by reviewing a presentation highlighting elements that may form the final plan and sharing their ideas. Visit Regina.ca/transitplan by Tuesday, September 28.
This feedback, along with other research, will be included in the RTMP to guide short and long-term decision-making to ensure transit is operating effectively, efficiently and sustainably over the next 25 years. The RTMP will be submitted for City Council consideration in early 2022.
