Dewdney Avenue – Fleet Street to Pilot Butte Creek (west of Dove Road)
The last phase of work is still in progress along Dewdney Avenue between Brown Street and the Pilot Butte Creek just west of Dove Road. This phase of the project includes isolated concrete replacement along curbs and gutters, removing the asphalt roadway and resurfacing it.
Starting at 7 a.m., Friday August 16 drivers should consider alternate routes as resurfacing work begins on Dewdney Avenue between Bentley Street and Brown Street. This work requires closing the intersections of both Dewdney Avenue and Bentley Street, as well as Dewdney Avenue and Brown Street to ensure they are completed before the school season begins. This section is expected to be complete in two weeks. Note that this area is not accessible from Prince of Wales Drive.
Once the signal upgrades and the above work is complete, crews will work on Dewdney Avenue between Fleet Street and Bentley Street. No intersections will be closed.
Transit routes will be affected. Riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit for bus stop and route changes.
The City of Regina thanks residents for their understanding and patience while this important infrastructure work is being completed. Slow down, plan ahead and be safe. Workers and their families are relying on you.
