Dewdney Avenue – McCarthy Boulevard to Aberdeen Street
The rehabilitation project on Dewdney Avenue between McCarthy Boulevard and Aberdeen Street progresses as crews begin the paving phase. This phase will include removing the existing asphalt and replacing with a new asphalt surface to improve drivability.
Starting at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, drivers should consider alternate routes as resurfacing work begins. Dewdney Avenue between McCarthy Boulevard and Aberdeen Street will be restricted to one lane in each direction.
This phase is expected to be completed in two weeks, depending on weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Transit routes may be affected. Riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit for bus stop and route changes.
