Drainage Maintenance on the Underpasses
On Sunday, October 25, crews will be cleaning the drainage systems at four underpass locations to help reduce future flooding from melting ice and snow.
Starting at 4 a.m. on Sunday, October 25, drivers may want to consider alternate routes as traffic will be impacted as follows:
- Albert Street underpass between Saskatchewan Drive and 10th Avenue will be restricted in the curb lanes in both directions Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in both directions.
- Broad Street underpass between Saskatchewan Drive and Dewdney Avenue will be restricted to one lane in both directions.
- Winnipeg Street North between Ross Avenue and 1st Avenue N will be restricted to one lane in both directions.
- Winnipeg Street between South Railway and 8th Avenue will be restricted to one lane in both directions.
This work is weather dependent and expected to be complete in one day.
