Free Transit on Election Day
On Election Day, Monday, November 9, voters get a free ride to the polls on Regina Transit using conventional bus or paratransit service.
Transit riders can either print the pass from Regina.ca/transit or show the bus operator the pass on their phone.
Polls are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. All polling locations are wheelchair accessible.
To find your poll location use the ‘My Voter Info’ tool at Regina.ca/elections which customizes voting information based on your address.
The health and safety of our employees and the community is important. Passengers are reminded to keep themselves and others safer when riding transit by following these steps:
- Mask up before boarding. Face masks are mandatory. Non-medical, simple face masks are acceptable, including alternative coverings like a bandana in two layers wrapped around the mouth and nose. Riders are encouraged to bring their own.
- Keep distanced from other passengers whenever possible.
- Keep the mask on for the entire trip. Passengers not wearing a mask will be asked to leave the bus.
- Use hand sanitizer once boarded. Dispensers have now been installed on all buses for passenger use.
Visit Regina.ca/transit or call the RideLine at 306-777-RIDE(7433) for transit schedules and information to plan your route to the polls.
