Keep Active this Fall with City Recreation and Leisure Programs
The City offers many affordable and accessible recreation programs for all ages and abilities. Today the latest Leisure Guide is ready to view, showing programming starting now until the end of October. A second Leisure Guide will be released Friday, October 2 to ensure the maximum number of programs are available while ensuring COVID-19 requirements are met.
The 2020 fall line-up includes many new program options to choose from, such as the Neil Balkwill’s program Altered Books where you can create a personal work of art using your favourite hard covered book. Registration is easy with Regina Recreation Online, which offers a fast, easy and convenient way to browse, wish list and register for City programs.
Registration for programs starts at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11 for residents, with non-resident registration starting Thursday, August 13. You can register for programs online at Regina.ca/recreation, by calling 306-777-PLAY (7529).
The health and safety of our community is our top priority. We continue to follow the guidelines of public health officials for the delivery of our programs and services. Staff have received additional training to ensure we maintain a safe environment for everyone. Additionally, facilities have been set up to ensure social distancing and enhanced cleaning protocol remain in place. Check out our video that shows you what to expect the next time you visit one of our recreation facilities.
