Many Ways to Pay Taxes in 2019
The deadline to pay your 2019 property taxes is July 2 and the City is providing many ways to make paying as convenient as possible for residents.
Payments can be made at City Hall, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Hours will be extended until 5:45 p.m. on July 2. But the trip to City Hall is not even necessary if you would like to pay through your bank, either in person, online or through tele-banking.
The drive-through tax kiosk beside City Hall will be open on June 27, 28 & July 2 to drop off cheque payments but residents preferring this method should plan ahead and expect traffic delays due to extensive construction along Victoria Avenue. The drive-through kiosk will be located on McIntyre Street and will be open between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Kiosk payment is by cheque only and must be accompanied by a tax bill. Residents are asked to have their cheque ready in advance of arriving at the kiosk.
Property tax notices were mailed to home owners on May 30. Anyone who has lost or not received a tax notice can contact the City at Regina.ca or 306-777-7000 to have a duplicate notice emailed to them.
Payments received or dated after July 2, 2019 are subject to a monthly penalty.
Property owners can access their property assessment and tax information anywhere, anytime and opt in for paperless tax notices through eProperty.
