On Your Mark, Get Set, Vote!
Elections Regina reminds eligible voters to take a few minutes to shape your city on Monday. This year, several measures have been put into place to ensure it is easy, safe and accessible to cast a ballot for Regina’s future.
On November 9, regular polls will open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. All polling locations are wheelchair accessible.
Masks are mandatory at the polls. Additional safety measures will be in place at the polls including cleaning protocols, hand sanitizing stations and social distancing markers.
Voters need to bring either government-issued photo ID that shows their name and address or two pieces of ID: one that shows their first & last name and one that shows their first & last name plus address. Acceptable forms of identification include those issued by the Government of Canada, the Government of Saskatchewan, a municipality or a government agency.
Voters are encouraged to print and fill out their Voter Registration Form ahead of time to speed up the process. These forms will also be available to fill out at the polls.
On Election Day, voters are required to vote in their designated polling place. To verify where, use the ‘My Voting Info’ tool on the City’s website, or call 306-751-4479 for assistance.
