Outdoor pools a great way to beat the summer heat
Regina’s outdoor pools provide a great, fun way for individuals and families to get out and be active during the summer month. The outdoor pool season starts Thursday, June 13, weather permitting, and runs until the beginning of September.
This year marks the final season for Wascana Pool before its renewal. To celebrate this important landmark in the park, the City is offering free admission this year to Wascana Pool from 12 to 8 p.m.
Admission at Dewdney Pool is free all day, and admission at Regent Park and Massey pools is free from 7 to 8 p.m.
Maple Leaf Pool is closed this season for renewal with decommissioning expected to start late July.
The City opened its 15 outdoor spray pads earlier this year. Spray pads are located throughout the city and are easily operated with the push of a button. Outdoor spray pads are open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., now to September 16, weather permitting.
Residents can find more information on outdoor pools, including updates on the Maple Leaf and Wascana Pool renewals, on the new, mobile-friendly Regina.ca.
