Parking Enforcement Resumes
Starting June 15, parking meter fees and parking enforcement will be phased back by the City of Regina.
As we move into the next phases of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan, parking enforcement will resume according to the following timeline:
- June 15 – payment and time restrictions at parking meters will be enforced.
- June 29 – parking enforcement will resume in timed zones, and for oversized vehicles and loading zones.
As many residents continue to work from home, the 24-hour overpark regulation which directs that vehicles must be moved within a 24-hour period in residential areas will remain on hold.
To easily make payments at meters, drivers can download the PayByPhone app. It is a contactless payment option that uses credit cards rather than cash. Simply download the app, enter the meter code, time duration, and your payment information.
Parking regulations and enforcement contribute to public safety, ensure that parking is available for Regina residents and visitors, and create a flow of traffic and patrons to businesses in our community.
