Pasqua Street – 4th Avenue to 5th Avenue
Today, Wednesday, August 5, City crews located a possible sinkhole on Pasqua Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue and took action to barricade the area for safety of residents. It is suspected that the soil washed out from around a catch basin causing a hole approximately seven feet wide by seven feet deep.
Pasqua Street will be closed between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue to northbound traffic today and pedestrians should use caution around the barricades.
Starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, crews will be onsite to repair the catch basin and surrounding area. Drivers may want to consider alternate routes as Pasqua Street will be closed to traffic between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue. The repair is expected to be completed in one day.
