Payment Plans Available for Utility Customers
The City of Regina is making alternate payment options available for water utility customers who are experiencing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Utility customers have had the opportunity to defer payments on their monthly bills since March 2020 when the Utility Payment Deferral Program was approved by Council in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Customers with outstanding account balances are encouraged to contact the City by September 30 to make payment arrangements.
Two interest-free payment options are available:
- Option 1: Sign up for Budget Billing at Regina.ca/utilitypayment and pay the past due amount in 12 equal installments. An equalized payment will be calculated based on the last 12 months of the customer’s billing history.
- Option 2: Contact the City at 306-777-7000 to discuss a customized payment arrangement for the past due amount that can be paid in monthly installments up to 12 months.
Overdue penalties will resume on October 1, 2020.
