Regina’s year-round public dog parks re-open May 15
The City of Regina will re-open our year-round dog parks on May 15, 2020.
Regina has two, year-round, dog parks at Cathy Lauritsen Memorial Off-Leash Dog Park and the Ross Industrial Off-Leash Dog Park. At this time, seasonal dog parks remain closed.
Signage at each site reminds users of the required public health measures in effect, including:
- Maintain a safe physical distance of two metres.
- Avoid contact with shared surfaces such as fences, benches and handrails.
- Do not share any items such as waste bags.
- Use at your own risk.
- Stay home if you are sick.
To help contain the spread of COVID-19, park gates will remain open.
Residents are reminded to follow the direction of public health officials by ensuring to stay home if you are sick, had exposure to someone with COVID-19 symptoms or have traveled outside the province in the last 14 days.
City Ambassadors will be at the parks on May 15, 16 and 17 to guide users on the physical distancing requirements. Failure to follow these requirements may result in parks being closed.
