Road Lines and Markings
A project to install lines and markings on select roads across the city begins on Thursday, July 15. This project will be completed in three phases between July 15 and the end of September. The City will advise of future restrictions as the work progresses.
To help minimize disruption, work will take place at night. Roads will be restricted to traffic between 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, drivers may want to consider alternate routes as crews will begin work on these locations, in order, over two weeks:
- Albert Street North - city limits to 9th Avenue North
- Rochdale Boulevard - Devonshire Drive to McCarthy Boulevard
- 9th Avenue North - Lorne Street to Broad Street
- 6th Avenue North - Argyle Street to Albert Street
The duration of each location is dependent on the length of pavement lines to be installed. This work is weather dependent.
The City of Regina thanks residents for their understanding and patience. Slow down and be safe. Workers and their families are relying on you.
Visit the Road Report for other traffic restrictions and closures.
