Ross Avenue – Winnipeg Street to Park Street
Starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, October 4, the renewal project along Ross Avenue between Winnipeg Street and Park Street is moving to the final stretch of paving. This Street Infrastructure Renewal project is being completed to improve sidewalks and drainage, as well as extend the lifecycle of the road.
Paving will be completed in three sections and drivers may want to consider alternate routes as the following closures will be in place:
- Section 1 – Ross Avenue will be closed to westbound traffic between McDonald Street and Winnipeg Street.
- Section 2 – Ross Avenue will be closed to eastbound traffic between Winnipeg Street and McDonald Street.
- Section 3 – The intersection of Ross Avenue and McDonald Street will be closed in all directions for two days.
This final phase of work is anticipated to be completed in eight days, weather dependent.
The City of Regina thanks residents for their understanding and patience. Slow down and be safe. Workers and their families are relying on you.
