4th Avenue North - Garnet Street to Retallack Street
Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 22, drivers may want to consider alternate routes as work begins on a water main replacement project along 4th Avenue North between Garnet Street and Retallack Street. This project will improve neighbourhood water flow and help reduce the frequency of water main breaks.
The closure at 4th Avenue North will be in place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. To reduce the impact to residents, crews will secure work areas and open the road to traffic at the end of each workday.
Work is expected to be complete in three weeks, depending on weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Transit routes may be affected. Riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit for bus stop and route changes.
The City of Regina thanks residents for their understanding and patience while this important infrastructure work is being completed. Slow down, plan ahead and be safe. Workers and their families are relying on you.
