Transit fares resume July 2 – Confirmed
Regina City Council approved the Regina Transit Fare Amendment Bylaw, 2020, at the special Council meeting today. This means that Regina Transit will begin fare collection on Thursday, July 2.
Passengers can resume boarding at the front doors of the bus. New safety barriers have been installed for safe interaction between passengers and bus operators.
Transit service will continue to operate on a reduced schedule with the Saturday schedule Monday through Fridays and the Sunday schedule for weekends and holidays. Enhanced cleaning protocols continue and the passenger limit will be 15 people per bus.
Customers who had passes while fares were waived may qualify for an extension. Call the RIDELine or visit the Transit Information Centre to inquire about your current pass or rides.
Regina Transit thanks customers for their patience and understanding during the COVID-19 pandemic.
