Victoria Avenue – Lorne Street to Hamilton Street/Pasqua Street – Parliament Avenue
A contractor is completing sewer relining work on behalf of the City of Regina. This project uses a technique that seals a new liner inside the current sewer main to restore the pipe without replacement. As this method is much less invasive than the tradition trenching method, it is more cost-effective and saves on road renewal.
Victoria Avenue – Lorne Street to Hamilton Street
- Starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, drivers may want to consider alternate routes as eastbound traffic on Victoria Avenue between Lorne Street and Hamilton Street will be restricted to one lane. In addition, some left turn movements will be restricted. This work is expected to be complete in one day.
Pasqua Street – Parliament Avenue
Crews will complete this work in two phases:
- Starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, drivers may want to consider alternate routes as crews will begin the sewer relining work by cleaning the sewer. Northbound traffic on Pasqua Street between Parliament Avenue and 25th Avenue will be detoured for two days.
- Starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, crews will reline the sewer. To do this work, northbound traffic on Pasqua Street between Parliament Avenue and 25th Avenue will be detoured for two days.
This work is dependent on weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Transit routes may be affected. Riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit for bus stop and route changes.
