Wascana Parkway – 23rd Avenue
Starting Monday, July 19, crews will begin improvements of the pedestrian corridor at the intersection of Wascana Parkway and 23rd Avenue. This project will see replacement of the concrete ramps, traffic island and medians to provide improved accessibility and safety for pedestrians.
Starting at 8 a.m., drivers may want to consider alternate routes as traffic will be restricted at the intersection intermittently. Specific restrictions will change depending on project progression and the location crews are working on. Restrictions will be removed at night. Pedestrians may also want to consider alternate routes.
This project is anticipated to be completed in two weeks, pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
The City of Regina thanks residents for their understanding and patience. Slow down and be safe. Workers and their families are relying on you.
