Watch for Litter Clean-up Crews Working Alongside Ring Road
As part of the City’s annual spring cleanup, work crews will begin collecting litter alongside the Ring Road and other high-speed roadways this week. For their safety, the City is reminding drivers to slow down when passing workers.
The health, safety and well-being of our community is our top priority. Safety measures will be in place to ensure a safe work environment for employees, including adherence to physical distancing guidelines.
Drivers can help keep Regina’s high-speed roadways clean and clear of hazards by:
- Securing and tarping loads when heading to the landfill to prevent objects from falling onto city roads and in other spaces
- Properly disposing of cigarette butts, which are one of the most common forms of littering in the city
- Keeping waste inside your vehicle until you can recycle or dispose of it properly at home
Thanks for helping us keep Regina clean.
