Winnipeg Street Overpass

Throughout April, traffic detours and restrictions on Ring Road, as well as traffic closures on Winnipeg Street, will be required for the Winnipeg Street Overpass project. These traffic measures help keep drivers and workers safe.

Between April 14 and May 6, Ring Road will be reduced to one lane in either direction through the night between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The following restrictions are anticipated:

• April 14 to 26, Ring Road reduced to one lane in westbound direction
• April 26 and May 6, Ring Road reduced to one lane in eastbound direction

The date and direction of closures each night is subject to change depending on progress and weather conditions. Winnipeg Street will remain open.

Signage will be in place along Ring Road and Winnipeg Street to notify drivers of all traffic detours. The City will advise residents of future restrictions as work progresses.
