    PlayEscapes

PlayEscapes is an inclusive summer drop-in program offered by the City of Regina which offers leader-facilitated play opportunities to help develop and foster life skills, creativity, imagination, positive self-image and promote a physically active lifestyle. Self-directed play is the key to the PlayEscapes program where children engage in play they select by themselves and are encouraged to explore and discover.

PlayEscapes is for all children entering Kindergarten (must be 5 years old by December 31, 2019) through Grade 7. PlayEscapes welcomes children and youth of all abilities. Due to the high number of participants, we ask that the individuals requiring 1-1 support/assistance please bring a support person/attendant.

The program runs Monday to Friday, July 4 to August 9, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be no program on Monday, August 5 and Friday, August 9 will be a half day of program with sites being open only in the morning. Supervision is not provided during lunch time, and participants will be required to leave the site from 12- 1:30 p.m.

    Registration

Pre-registration is not required. We accept new participants every morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and again every afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. After these times we will not accept new participants until the following time period. Feel free to join us at any point in the summer! Please complete a Participant Information and Photo Release and return it on the first day your child(ren) attends the program. Forms are also available on site.
