2018 Municipal Heritage Awards Call for Nominations
The City of Regina’s Municipal Heritage Awards recognize individuals and
organizations that have a unique understanding of the value of heritage.
Award nominations should include organizations and individuals that have enhanced
the quality of life in Regina through the safeguarding and promotion of our
community’s historic places, including:
- The restoration, preservation, or rehabilitation of heritage buildings.
- Creation of new design within exiting heritage neighbourhoods, including
open spaces, sites, monuments and trails.
- Delivering exhibitions, lecture series, tours and plays.
- Exceptional volunteer involvement and outstanding commitment to heritage
In addition, the Municipal Heritage Awards recognize non-professionals under the
age of 25 for special contributions.
Nominations are accepted for projects undertaken or completed in the current and
preceding year. The nomination deadline is October 31, 2018.
Announcement and presentation of awards will take place at a City Council meeting
in early 2019.
