The City of Regina is preparing to begin deconstruction of the historic Mosaic Stadium after recently awarding a contract for the project.
When you see the impact of the hot, dry summer on your lawn, the same impact is being battled several meters below the surface. The dry, brittle ground is causing shifting which impacts City water pipes and service connections. If the current trend continues, the number of water main breaks will exceed historical records.

Drivers may want to consider alternate routes as construction work at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Albert Street will further restrict traffic on Victoria Avenue starting Monday, August 21. The work is expected to be completed by August 23, 2017.

Starting Monday, August 14, drivers should consider alternate routes while overpass replacement continues at the Ring Road under the Wascana Parkway. This work will require the Ring Road to be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Building permits for residential units continue to rise with a total of 65 residential permits issued in July compared to 47 for the same month last year, for a total value in July of 2017 of $39 million compared to $31.5 million for July 2016.
