Let’s make Halloween fun and healthy

Tue Oct 10 09:09:16 CST 2017

It starts today! You can buy Healthy Halloween Passes to hand out to children when they come trick or treating at your door later this month. These passes will provide an alternative for residents who want to encourage healthy lifestyles in children this Halloween. It’s our way of supporting active children in our city.

Here’s how the passes work. Children who get a pass this Halloween can use the pass for free admission to any of our facilities, a free public skate or a free leisure swim.
You can purchase passes in packages of 10 for $5 (GST included):

When: October 10 to October 31 (while supplies last)
Where: Sportplex
             North West Leisure Centre
             Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre

City staff will also be handing out limited passes on Halloween day on Tuesday, October 31 to children who stop by at these locations:

•    City Hall
•    Sportplex
•    North West Leisure Centre
•    Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre
•    Neighbourhood centres

Make sure your little ghost or goblin knocks on our City doors this year!
