Red Light Safety Program Officially Underway

It’s as simple as STOP. Drivers are reminded that starting February 1, the Red Light Safety Program begins ticketing vehicles running red stop lights. Registered vehicle owners will be receive a $230 ticket through the Regina Police Service.

Cameras are located at:

  • Albert Street and Saskatchewan Drive
  • Albert Street and Parliament Avenue
  • Lewvan Drive and Dewdney Avenue

Traffic safety is important and the goal of the Red Light Safety Program strives to change driver behaviour at high-risk intersections by issuing tickets for violating red traffic signals. This program will help reduce collisions at these identified intersections.
