Show you care with your fare—Take the Jingle Bus and help our local charities

Wed Dec 13 11:03:22 CST 2017

With the holiday season upon us, it’s time to show we care with our actions and we’re helping you make that possible by taking Regina Transit and Paratransit. We’re offering you the Jingle Bus. You can ride any of our buses for free between Friday, December 15 and Sunday, December 17 and instead of paying bus fare, we’re asking you to donate money to two local charities. Your donations will go to the Regina Food Bank and Salvation Army and show that you care with your fare.

It’s the third year we’re offering the Jingle Bus in partnership with Rawlco Radio. We will use your donations and combine them with Rawlco’s donation to make a difference for the people served by these two charities. Last year we raised $10,000 and saw an increase in our ridership by 40 per cent. You definitely showed that you care!  We’re hoping to do even better this year.

It’s easy to show you care with your fare if you already are a transit rider.  If you haven’t tried taking transit, now is a great time to take one of our buses and to make a contribution to charity at the same time. Be sure to bring change with you because our fare boxes take coins only.
