Snow Route declared
The City of Regina has declared the Snow Route in effect which means there is no
parking along the identified route for a 24-hour period. This parking ban allows crews
to plow the roads so the snow ridge is much smaller and along the curb, and helps
improve traffic flow along the busy roadways. As well, this will help ensure roads are
passable for emergency response vehicles.
Effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, there is no parking along the Snow Route
until 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 7.
The Snow Routes are:
• Victoria Avenue between Broad Street and Winnipeg Street
• Winnipeg Street between Victoria Avenue and College Avenue
• College Avenue between Winnipeg Street and Arcola Avenue
Blue signs with a white snowflake help identify where there is no parking during the
24-hour ban. Vehicles which remain parked on snow routes during the temporary
parking ban will be ticketed.
Residents and business owners can sign up for email notifications, follow the City’s
Facebook and Twitter, or go online to Regina.ca/snowroutes to find out when a snow
route is declared.
