You will need to obtain a building permit for all foundation repairs. Foundation repair refers to both internal structural bracing as well as exterior damp-proofing. Foundations for all buildings and structures must be designed by a professional architect or a professional engineer licensed in the Province of Saskatchewan. Therefore, all foundation bracing must be designed by a professional.
View the Foundation Repair permit submission package to ensure your application contains all required information and documents. A completed Residential Permit Fee Calculation Form is required as part of the application. If you need assistance with this form, call 306-777-7000. The building permit application must be signed by the legal owner of the property as well as the applicant. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
