Private Swimming Pool

If you are building or demolishing a private swimming pool, you will require a Private Swimming Pool Permit. Construction cannot begin until the permit is issued. If work commences prior to issuing of a building permit, you will be subject to a surcharge.

To apply

You will need to submit the Private Swimming Pool Permit Submission Package.

Submission requirements are detailed in the checklist. Additional information, including permit fees can be found on the Private Swimming Pool Bylaw No. 2004-81.

Note: You may also need to obtain electrical and gas permits for your pool in addition to the ones listed above. Contact SaskPower if you require a permit or inspection for electrical work or gas work.
