Code of Conduct and Disclosure Bylaw
Bylaw related to code of conduct and disclosure
The Code of Conduct and Disclosure Bylaw No. 2002-57 was established to provide rules and guidance for civic employees and persons appointed by Council to Committees, Boards and Commissions.
- A number of senior executives are required to disclose their land holdings.
- Members of the boards/committees/commissions are required to disclose their land holdings.
- Members of Council are exempt from the bylaw as there are requirements in The Cities Act which apply specifically to them.
This page is an overview of these regulations. Refer to the bylaw for detailed information. The Office of the City Clerk keeps the latest version of each bylaw on file and will provide a copy upon request.
