Regina’s decision making structure is handled through a committee system as outlined in the Committee Bylaw No. 2009-40. Committees review and consider matters brought forth by the public and City Administration and provide recommendations to City Council.
This bylaw was established to consolidate all provisions relating to the various committees that have been established by City Council in one bylaw.
- Seven main Committees and ten secondary Committees are outlined in the bylaw.
- Refer to the bylaw for purpose, terms of reference, authority, delegated authority, composition, eligibility, term, meeting requirements, reporting and administrative resources of each Committee.
