Mariana’s Trench

Watch this Punk/Emo rock band from Vancouver perform their latest hits! About Marianas Trench: Since their 2006 debut, Fix Me, the Vancouver, BC-based four piece have had two Certified Platinum-selling records (Masterpiece Theatre, Ever After), chart topping hits including ‘Fallout,’ ‘Haven’t Had Enough,’ and ‘Stutter,’ garnered multiple SOCAN and MMVA Awards, number 1 videos on MuchMusic, and JUNO nominations, and won the 2013 JUNO Award for Group of the Year. Over time Marianas Trench have toured relentlessly in Canada and globally, headlining tours in Australia and New Zealand, and the US. The Dead South

 

Listen to the fun, modern hillbillies from Regina, Saskatchewan! Formed in 2012, The Dead South have recorded and released three albums. Their most recent album “Illusion & Doubt” charted at #2 on the Bluegrass US Billboards and won Best Saskatchewan Album of 2016. Their debut album “Good Company”, first released in 2014, is making waves to this day and continues to climb the charts at #3 Alternative Albums, US and #32 All Categories Top Album in Canada, while their official music video to “Good Company” has well over 9 Million views on YouTube. @thedeadsouth

Colter Wall 

ColterColter Wall is a prairie-born songwriter from Saskatchewan, Canada. Wall's inaugural EP, Imaginary Appalachia, continues to keep him a non-stop, buzzed-about young artist and has evoked visceral reactions from industry veterans, his musical heroes and peers, as well as a loyal and quickly-growing grassroots fan base. His signature baritone vocal is paired with sparse, beautiful old-soul songwriting inspired by artists like Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Emmylou Harris & Waylon Jennings.

Mackenzie Jackson

Mackenzie Jackson is soul music from the prairies. This 90’s kid blends melodic R&B grooves with smooth soulful vocals. Accompanied by Saskatchewan’s top musicians, Mackenzie Jackson provides tight grooves and his own take on classic motown vibes.  He can be found playing with his own band or helping out his friends in The Bureau and Keiran Semple this summer at festivals and night-spots around the province.

 

Charging Bear Performance

Charging Bear Performance is an ensemble of First Nation performing artists located in Regina, Saskatchewan. Established in 2016, Charging Bear has performed for many diverse audiences from across the world since its inception and been a part of many great productions such as the INDSPIRE Awards and the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network Live. Charging Bear has had the opportunity to work alongside many great artists such as A Tribe Called Red, Kahurangi Maori Dance Theatre of New Zealand and the Regina Symphony Orchestra. Charging Bear aims to break stereotypes, educate and entertain while representing First Nations culture in a positive and respectful manner.

 


Marianas Trench

À propos de Marianas Trench :  Les quatre membres de ce groupe originaire de Vancouver, en Colombie-Britannique, ont sorti leur premier album, Fix Me, en 2016.  Depuis, le groupe a produit deux albums certifiés disques de platine (Masterpiece TheatreEver After) et des chansons en tête de palmarès, y compris « Fallout », « Haven’t Had Enough », et « Stutter ».  Il a également gagné de multiples prix SOCAN et MMVA, vu ses vidéos se classer au premier rang sur Much Music, reçu des nominations aux Junos, et remporté le prix Juno pour le Meilleur groupe de l’année en 2013.

Colter Wall

Colter Wall est un auteur-compositeur-interprète des prairies, né en Saskatchewan, au Canada. Son premier maxi, Imaginary Appalachia, continue à faire de lui un jeune artiste dont on parle sans cesse, et qui évoque des réactions viscérales de la part des vétérans de l’industrie, ses héros et pairs en musique, ainsi que d’une base rapidement croissante de supporteurs de la communauté. Sa voix de baryton signature est couplée avec une belle composition clairsemée de vieille âme, inspirée par des artistes comme Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Emmylou Harris et Waylon Jennings.

Mackenzie Jackson

Mackenzie Jackson incarne la musique soul des prairies.  Cet ado des années 1990 fusionne les grooves mélodieux du « rhythm ‘n’ blues » à une voix douce et pleine d’âme. Accompagné par des musiciens extraordinaires de la Saskatchewan, Mackenzie Jackson délivre un rythme coriace et sa propre interprétation des sentiments de Motown. Cet été, on le retrouvera à jouer avec son propre groupe musical ou à accompagner ses amis de The Bureau et de Kieran Semple pendant les festivals et les soirées de divertissement partout en province.
