Jim Nicol Biography
Jim Nicol is the Chief Legislative Officer & City Clerk for the City of Regina where he oversees various departments that provide direct support to City Council and Administration, including the City Clerk's Office, Communications, Strategy Management and Government Relations.
Prior to joining the City of Regina in June 2007, Jim spent 19 years with the Government of Saskatchewan. He started his career as a budget analyst with Treasury Board and served in a number of senior capacities over 13 years within Executive Council and the Office of the Premier before being appointed as Assistant Deputy Minister of Labour in 2003. He holds degrees in Political Science and Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan.
Jim and his wife Arlene, along with their two children, are pleased to call Regina "home" and are excited about the prospects for Regina's future.
