Thomas George McNall came to Regina around 1909 as a salesman for the George Weston Limited biscuit company. He was president and manager of the new firm, McNall and Company Limited until he sold it to the Hudson's Bay Company in 1950.
He was an Alderman for 17 years from 1926 to 1944 and Mayor of Regina from 1945 to 1946. As an Alderman, he was instrumental in introducing the five cent street railway fare which came into effect in 1943.
