Regina Taxi Study
A draft study reviewing Regina’s taxi industry is a result of City Council’s decision to create an overall action plan for the taxi industry further to the Passenger Ground Transportation Study initiated by the Regina Airport Authority and conducted by Hara Associates. This study was conducted by Dr. Ray Mundy of Tennessee Transportation & Logistics Foundation. It examines the rationale behind regulating taxi operations in Regina; the current Regina taxi market and recommendations for the future. The report contains the observations and recommendations of the consultant.
After gathering feedback from industry stakeholders. City Administration will forward final recommendations for consideration by City Council later in 2010.
