Get in the holiday spirit with Light the Lights!

Light the lights Join Mayor Fougere and City Councillors by turning on the Christmas lights and welcoming Santa Claus at the annual Light the Lights event on Monday, December 4. Festivities will take place at City Hall from 6-8 p.m.

It’s free winter fun, so bundle up and bring your family and friends! Enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, along with a good dose of holiday spirit! There will be wagon rides, entertainment and an ice sculpting demonstration, including an ice-frame ‘selfie’ station and much more!

 

Light the Lights Colouring Contest

Are you between 1 and 14 years of age? Want to get into the spirit of the season? How about colouring a wonderful winter holiday page and entering the Light the Lights colouring contest.

You could win a special gift from Santa presented to you by our very own Mayor Fougere.

Entering the Light the Lights colouring contest is easy!

Traffic restrictions: To provide wagon rides, traffic and parking restrictions will be in place in the downtown area between 4 and 9 p.m. For your safety and vehicle protection, do not park at bagged meters around City Hall.
