2017 Construction Season Review

In 2017, the City of Regina invested $88 million for capital projects with $50 million for water, wastewater and draining projects, and a further $38 million spent on roads and transportation infrastructure like bridges and sidewalks. These investments are important for residents who see their property tax dollars hard at work improving their quality of life every day.

Crews completed 25.8 kilometres of work as part of the Residential Road Renewal Program and 13.48 kilometres of roadway through the Street Infrastructure Renewal Program. In addition, work was completed on major projects like the Ring Road overpass at Victoria Avenue and the Arcola Detention Pond.
