Crime Prevention Week
In late May each year, the Regina Crime Prevention Advisory Committee hosts Crime Prevention Week. It reminds us that crime prevention begins in the neighbourhood where we live and it is up to each of us to ensure our community is a safe place to live, work and play.
What is Regina Crime Prevention Week?
Regina Crime Prevention Week is an annual event with a designated week in May aimed at increasing awareness of crime prevention and encouraging citizens to help make Regina communities safer.
Who organizes it?
The Crime Prevention Advisory Committee (CPAC) works with community partners to coordinate Crime Prevention Week. The Committee consists of 16 members appointed by Regina City Council to prevent and reduce crime in Regina using a community and social development approach.
