Priority Booking System and Service Levels

The Regina Paratransit System (RPS) books passengers on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-booking allows RPS to ensure trips are reserved according to the priority booking system and to plan routes to minimize travel time.

During morning and afternoon rush-hour periods, RPS vehicles are at full capacity. During these times, RPS schedules bookings following a priority basis:

First Priority

Trips to work or employment (including service on boards and committees)

Second Priority

Trips to school

Third Priority

Trips to medical or dental appointments

Fourth Priority

Trips to go shopping, recreational activities, or social activities
